Robert De Niro’s grandson Leandro’s cause of death at 19 revealed

On Sunday, July 2, Leandro De Niro was found dead, and Drena De Niro, Robert De Niro’s distraught daughter, has now disclosed the cause of death. He was 19.

Drena shared the sad news of her beloved son’s passing on social media, but she did not share any specifics about his passing. Despite the fact that there hasn’t been a publicly released official coroners report, the 51-year-old reportedly stated that Leandro died after ingesting drugs that were laced with fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine.

Someone on Instagram asked Drena how Leandro died, and she replied, “Someone sold him fentanyl-laced pills that they knew were laced but still sold to him. To all those people who are still buying and selling this [expletive], my son is now irretrievably lost.

De Niro and his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott raised Drena, who shared the premature death of her son in a social media post, referring to him as “My lovely darling angel.”. Since the first time I felt your presence inside of me, I have loved you indescribably. You have always been the source of everything true, pure, and joyful in my life. ”.

“I don’t know how I’ll manage without you, but I’ll try to keep going and spread the joy and love that being your mother has given me. I wish my love and admiration for you had been sufficient to save you. I’m so sorry, sweetheart. @carlosmare, I’m so sorry. Rest in peace and enjoy eternal bliss, my sweet baby. ”.

De Niro expressed his sorrow over the passing of his beloved grandson Leo in a statement.
I sincerely appreciate everyone’s condolences.
We respectfully ask for time and space to grieve privately for Leo. ”.
